Cece:
Loved your interview with Donna Sanford whom I have admired for many years. She makes a great point about “good” content and the need for customers to resist writing about themselves all of the time. On the other hand, many companies don’t have the internal talent to develop consistent good content yet feel that an outside writer wouldn’t be able to understand their company culture or convey their company “voice.” I’m here to say that isn’t true. There are many excellent industry writers (including Donna) that can develop excellent content. Many are trained journalists who know what questions to ask of the company and what topics are compelling enough to draw attention. Thanks to both of you for an interesting post on what continues to be an important subject.
