O.K. so that makes sense to me. Tweet when you want to - passive eavesdropping - join in or hang back.

Thanks

@Eric - Actually, I tweeted =) this article about this very topic: http://tinyurl.com/28x4fg.

I think the issue is, like all other new forms of communication, is how to leverage the conversation so it doesn't become noise. I'm still determining who to follow vs who follows me. I also try to scan the incoming tweets.

Like when IM was first introduced, it's learning when to use it and when not to. I'm not a frequent tweeter. I just jump in when I have a question for the group or a good "conversation" is taking place.

Does that make sense?

Hi Cece,

I kinda get the allure of twitter but do you see yourself getting bored of doing it? It seems like any kind of chat - at first it is like magic but then it is just a way to communicate. I know, I know i just need to try it - I will but for now I would love to hear from anyone who has done if for a while and see if it still holds onto its shine.

Cheers,

Eric
